The fixed, public test behind every Asli Score.
Built the way AI models are benchmarked: everyone takes the same test, results carry their sample size and a version number, and nobody can pay to change them. Results are what people report about their own skin and hair, not lab claims.

1 · Grouping
Products only compete with their own kind
Every product has an area, a type and a main active ingredient. A leaderboard is always one type, so face washes only compete with face washes. The active is a filter inside the board, and brand is never its own board.
2 · The check-in
The same five-step scale, every day
Each day people answer 3 to 5 one-tap questions picked from the products on their shelf. Every answer uses the same five steps, where the first is best. Each type is judged on what it is meant to do.
3 · Ranking
Evidence beats luck
Products are ranked by the low end of a 95% confidence range on the share who improved (the Wilson score). Five out of five sounds perfect, but it is five people. One hundred and eighty out of two hundred is far more certain, so it ranks higher.
4 · The rules
Who counts, and when a result is published
Real, verified people
Google sign-ins who chose to contribute. One real account per person.
4 complete weeks
Check-ins on at least 4 days of each week, back to back.
Against your own start
Weeks 3–4 compared with week 1. Half a step on the scale counts as a change.
Only real problems count
No breakouts at the start? You are left out of the breakouts question.
One change at a time
If two or more other products started around the same time, the result is not credited.
